Covaxin trial for 2-18 yrs age group to begin in 10-12 days, govt says

Trial of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin in the 2-18 years age group is likely to begin in the next 10-12 days., a govt official said. The vaccine received DCGI approval for the trials last week. 1.8% of total population of India has been affected by the disease so far. That means nearly 98% people are still vulnerable to the infection, a health ministry official said.
