Kumbh, deaths have clear link, Char Dham will be disaster: Uttarakhand high court

The state government’s proposal to flag off the Char Dham yatra on July 1 could be a “recipe for national disaster,” the Uttarakhand high court said on Wednesday. It added that there was a “direct correlation between the Kumbh mela gathering and consequent deaths” in the state.
