India reported 22,431 new cases and 318 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Thursday. As per the ministry of health and family welfare, the active caseload stands at 2,44,198 - which is the lowest in 204 days. The daily rise in new coronavirus infections remained below 30,000 for the 13th straight day.
