Maharashtra: 10 women aged 50-67 embark on 4,500 km Himalayan trek in March

Exactly two years ago, Padma Bhushan and Everester Bachendri Pal called up a few of her mountaineering enthusiast friends with an idea for an expedition that took everyone by surprise: A women-only group, aged 50-70, to trek about 4,500 kilometres in a Trans-Himalayan expedition.
