Covid-19: Centre extends containment measures till Feb 28; home secretary writes to state, UTs

As the home ministry extended validity of its order for compliance of evidence-based Covid containment measures until February 28, home secretary Ajay Bhalla on Thursday wrote to all the state and UT administrations saying that the current positivity rate of over 10% in 407 districts across 34 states and UTs was a matter of concern and required exercise of caution and vigilance.
