Woman sells girl child: Madras HC grants bail to broker

The case of the prosecution is that a woman Kalaiselvi, who lost her first husband and was abandoned by her second husband, sold her one-year-old girl child as she was allegedly getting ready to tie the knot for the third time. Kalaiselvi, with the help of a few brokers, had sold the baby to a couple from Madurai district for Rs 2.25lakh.
