Muslim family with kids thrashed for ‘backing BJP’ in Uttarakhand polls

A Muslim family living in Bhoot Bangla Colony, a predominantly Muslim neighbourhood in Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar, was allegedly attacked by neighbours for backing BJP in the recently-held polls. The family of four, which besides the husband and wife includes their teenage children -- a 15- year-old boy and 16-year-old girl -- sustained grievous injuries, with the mother and daughter getting knife wounds.
