Karnataka: Chamarajanagar transwoman pursues doctorate

Deepa Budde HG, a resident of Heggavadipura in Chamarajanagar district and a transwoman, is the first member of the community to pursue her doctorate. She is currently at the Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre of the University of Mysore.
