Daily Covid cases set to cross 10,000 for 1st time in 109 days

By late night, India had reported 8,641 fresh cases of the virus on Wednesday, with data from a few states awaited. Among these states was Kerala, which had reported 1,950 or more cases on each of last seven days. On Tuesday, 8,828 fresh cases were recorded in the country, as per TOI’s Covid database.
