UP police attach plots of MP under Gangster Act

Initiating action under the Gangster Act, UP’s Ghazipur district administration and police attached plots worth Rs 15 crore belonging to local BSP MP Afzal Ansari, the elder brother of jailed mafia don Mukhtar Ansari. Ghazipur SP Rohan P Botre said under the ongoing drive against the assets of gangsters, police had collected details of properties purchased by Afzal with illegally earned money in Macha, Panetha, Narsinghpur Tarayi and Khardiha areas under Mohammadabad tehsil.
