One crore women to get Rs 1,000/month from September 15 in Tamil Nadu

Amid strident criticism from the opposition that the DMK was not implementing its poll promise, the DMK-led government on Monday announced the launch of Magalir Urimai Thogai (Women’s entitlement amount) of Rs 1,000 to women heads of eligible households from September 15.
