After 35 days on the run, radical preacher Amritpal Singh caught in Punjab's Moga; whisked away to Assam: Top developments

After 35 days on the run, radical preacher Amritpal Singh was arrested on Sunday from Moga district in Punjab. The leader of 'Waris Punjab De' was arrested around 6.45am in Rode village. He was promptly processed and taken by air from Bathinda to Dibrugarh in Assam. The plane carrying the Khalistan sympathiser landed in Assam around 2.20pm.
