Jammu and Kashmir government employee posing as ‘tantrik’ rapes woman, arrested

J&K Police on Monday arrested a government employee for allegedly raping a woman in the guise of a ‘tantrik’ in Samba district. Samba’s senior superintendent of police (SSP) Benam Tosh said the public health engineering department employee allegedly raped the woman after inducing her to visit his house on the pretext of healing her skin disease through “magical powers”.
