West Bengal: Lt Col held for abetment after live-in partner's suicide at his Army quarters

A 48-year-old lieutenant colonel was arrested on Friday on abetment charges, five days after the body of his 37-year-old live-in partner was found hanging at his official quarters in Barrackpore Cantonment. The accused is a senior doctor at Barrackpore Army Hospital while his partner was a doctor at a government hospital and a writer.
