Govt cracks down as girl dies after eating shawarma in Tamil Nadu

Samples have been collected from the restaurant and sent for testing, with the results expected within a week. In Chennai, cooked and raw meat has been destroyed and eateries inspected, leading to temporary closures and notices for violations. In Salem, rotten chicken and banned items were seized from non-vegetarian hotels.
