Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the 'ghoda library' initiative in Uttarakhand during the latest episode of 'Mann Ki Baat'. The initiative involves mules and horses carrying children's books to remote areas of the state. The Prime Minister described it as a "service to the country in the field of education" and commended the efforts of the youths involved. The initiative, started by Shubham Badhani in association with two NGOs, has so far reached 15 hill villages and distributed over 600 books. Badhani plans to set up community libraries in Nainital, Rudraprayag, and Tehri districts.
