Protesters say stop release of Cauvery waterto Tamil Nadu, want govt to fulfil demands in 3 days

Farmers' organizations and opposition parties in Bengaluru claimed that the bandh they called to protest the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu was successful. However, the police arrested protesters who attempted to hold rallies. The protesters later held a peaceful protest at Freedom Park. They submitted a list of demands to the Chief Minister, including stopping the release of Cauvery water, starting work on the Mekedatu project, and withdrawing cases against farmers and pro-Kannada activists. The protesters warned of resuming their agitation if their demands were not met.
