UP Congress chief booked for 'promoting enmity'

Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai has been accused of promoting enmity by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and an FIR has been lodged against him. The complaint alleges that Rai accused ABVP members of being involved in a molestation incident at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Rai dismissed the complaint as a sign of nervousness from the ABVP. The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday night, and an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. No arrests have been made yet.
