Man, 28, arrested for sexually abusing women at knife-point in East Tambaram

A 28-year-old man was arrested in Chennai for allegedly sexually abusing home-alone women at knife-point and stealing their innerwear. The man was caught by a group of youths who formed a patrol team due to the rising incidents in the area. The suspect, identified as Thamzhil Prabhu, confessed to targeting houses where women stayed alone or their husbands worked night shifts. He would use a knife to silence his victims and sexually abuse them. The suspect is now in judicial custody.
