Israel approves appointment of Reuven Azar as new Ambassador to India

The Israeli government has approved Reuven Azar as the new Ambassador to India, as well as the non-resident Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Azar, currently serving as the Ambassador of Israel to Romania, will replace Naor Gilon in New Delhi. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the appointment of 21 new Heads of Missions, with Foreign Minister Eli Cohen congratulating the appointees. The aim is for them to represent Israel, strengthen its economy, and gain international support.
