Congress rejig: Priyanka shifted from UP, Pilot in charge of Chhattisgarh

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been moved out of the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh, and would be a Congress general secretary without portfolio, while Sachin Pilot has shifted from Rajasthan to oversee the party affairs in Chhattisgarh, as part of the AICC reshuffle announced on Saturday. Crucially, senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala is the new party manager for Maharashtra, while Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa would continue with Rajasthan. Mohan Prakash, a former Janata Dal leader, has been given Bihar, where Congress has to coordinate with JD(U)
