Teacher ‘framed, humiliated’ by UP cop hangs self

A 35-year-old schoolteacher, Rajendra Pratap Singh, ended his life in Atararmaaf village of Mahoba after being harassed and humiliated by sub-inspector Devendra Pandey. Singh accused Pandey and liquor vendor Karan Rajput of framing him in a fake robbery case. Mahoba superintendent of police, Aparna Gupta, removed Pandey from his position and initiated an investigation.
