Stage set for sibling rivalry in Andhra Pradesh, YS Sharmila named Congress chief

Congress appoints YS Sharmila, daughter of former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, as president of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) ahead of the general elections. Sharmila will compete against her brother and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Congress hopes Sharmila's appointment will help regain support and bring back past glory.
