Jaishankar, Palestinian FM Riyad al-Maliki discuss Gaza crisis at NAM

Jaishankar discussed the ongoing Gaza crisis in a meeting with Palestinian FM al-Maliki. They exchanged views on the humanitarian and political dimensions of the conflict. Jaishankar reiterated India's support for a two-state solution and called for a sustainable solution to the crisis. This was the first meeting between the two since the Israel-Hamas conflict erupted on Oct 7, 2023, following the Hamas assault on Israel that was condemned by India as terror attacks.
