Security situation in Myanmar's Rakhine state worrisome: India

India expressed concern about the security situation in Myanmar's Rakhine state, particularly regarding the Indian consulate in Sittwe. India advised its citizens to leave the region immediately due to the deteriorating security situation. The government also decided to end the India-Myanmar Free Movement Regime to secure borders and maintain the demographic structure of India's North Eastern States.
