Farmer-police standoff on, fresh talks with ministers in Chandigarh today

A third round of talks between protesting farmers and a team of Union ministers will take place in Chandigarh at 5 p.m. on Thursday to resolve their demands, while a standoff between protesters and Haryana police continued at the Punjab-Haryana border areas of Shambhu and Khanauri on Wednesday, the second day of the farmers' march to Delhi.
