TDP's nominee for Guntur, Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, revealed assets worth Rs 5,785 crore, marking him as the wealthiest contender nationwide to date. The former NRI doctor, now in politics, submitted his candidacy. Originally from Burripalem in Guntur district, Dr. Sekhar's family roots lie there. His father relocated to Narasaraopet, managing a hotel. Sekhar, securing the 27th position in EAMCET, pursued his MBBS at Osmania University before furthering his studies in the US.
