MA'AN AND ABU DHABI SPORTS COUNCIL LAUNCH NEW RUNNING EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR PATIENTS AWAITING ORGAN DONATION

(MENAFN - Mid-East.Info) Funds will be raised for the 'Organs Transplant Support' campaign, launched in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company � SEHA,, will cover cost of surgery and following two-year treatment costs for in need patients.Abu Dhabi, 31 March 2021: Taking place on Saturday 10th April at Al Hudayriat Island, Ma'an's 'At Your Own Pace' event is an opportunity for Abu Dhabi residents and citizens of different ages and abilities to come together and participate in an enjoyable and safe race while supporting a social cause.Registration is now open for the event with participants able to choose from 3km, 5km and 10km distances. Entry for ages 12 and above costs AED 120 for all distances while adults can enter for AED 150. Every single dirham from the registration fees will be contributed to the Organ Donation Programme which will provide the funds needed for surgery for 16 patients currently on the waiting list, along with the follow-up treatment costs, following operation.
