Jordan reports 49 coronavirus-related deaths, 1,259 infections

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, April 24 (KUNA) -- Jordan announced, Saturday, the death of 49 individuals due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the infection of 1,259 others.This brings the tallies of deaths and infections to 8,563 and around 700,000 respectively, said the Ministry of Health.Recoveries hit around 665,000 with the addition of 3,340 cases, while around 12,000 swabs were carried out, bringing the total to 6.594 million.
