Huge fire in Baghdad hospital kills 24 people, injures dozens

(MENAFN)Xinhua quoted official sources as saying that in a mass fire that blown up in a hospital treating Coronavirus patients in the capital of Iraq, more than 24 people were killed and dozens wounded. According to a statement released by the country's civil defense, the incident took place when a number of oxygen cylinders blown up , causing a huge fire at Ibn al-Khatib Hospital. It further declared that Civil defense teams and firefighting vehicles were at the scene to calm the fire and were able to avoid the fire before reaching the upper floors. It also declared that they saved 90 patients and health workers who were delimited by fire in the building.
