Somali army kills 15 al-Shabaab fighters, wounds another 20

(MENAFN) On Friday, May. 28 the Somali military killed 15 al-Shabaab militants as a minimum and wounded more than 20 others in Somalia�s Middle Shabelle region. SNA radio said: "the Somali National Army killed 15 members of al-Shabaab in security operations at Gallabashiir village, in the Middle Shabelle region." Terrorists experienced great loss in the drive, said Army Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Odawa Yusuf Rageh said to the radio. He noted the army demolished al-Shabaab strongholds and confiscated arms as part of the drive conducted to demolish the group's manpower and infrastructure.
