Yemen: Houthi drone attack leaves 4 recently-recruited soldiers dead

(MENAFN) A military official said to Xinhua that on Saturday, Jun. 19 four recently-recruited Yemeni soldiers lost their lives and scores were wounded in a Houthi drone assault on a pro-administration military base in the country�s southeastern province of Hadramout. The local military source stated on condition of remaining anonymous: "a military base of the newly-recruited pro-government Yemeni forces located in Al-Wadiah border crossing point in Hadramout was bombed by Houthi drones, causing a huge explosion in the area." He further said: "the targeted military base fully backed by Saudi Arabia was specifically used for training new pro-government Yemeni army recruits." The Houthi militants located in the capital Sanaa are yet to make remarks.
