HRC Launches Program to Strengthen National Capabilities on Saudi Arabia''s Commitments Towards International Human Rights Conventions

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, June 27, 2021, SPA -- The Human Rights Commission is launching here today a training program for the human rights departments in various ministries and government entities, with the participation of national and international experts. This training program aims at enhancing the capabilities of the employees of these entities on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's national commitments towards the international human rights conventions it has ratified, as part of the second and third phases of the training program for the human rights departments in various ministries and government entities. The program, which will last for 4 days in cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, reviewed during the first day's sessions the international conventions and the work of the competent committees. During its four days, the program will have open discussion sessions that will ensure that the employees of the human rights departments in various ministries and government entities benefit from the expertise of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and its various programs and will enhance the progress made in implementing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitments under these conventions, within the framework of the directives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, as well as the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 aiming at protecting and promoting the human rights. --SPA 17:47 LOCAL TIME 14:47 GMT 0021 MENAFN27062021000078011016ID1102351546
