Serious collision - A390 Chiverton Cross

At around 1528 hours on Monday 12^th October 2020 Police were informed about a Road Traffic Collision involving a Black Ford Fiesta and a Cyclist on the A390 near Chiverton Cross roundabout

As a result of the collision a 51 year old male cyclist has sustained life threatening injuries, he is currently being treated in a Cornwall Hospital

The driver of the Ford Fiesta a 22 year old local female stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the collision to investigate and establish how the collision occurred.

Witnesses and anybody with dashcam footage of the collision, or the driving of the vehicle prior to the collision are requested to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 with information quoting log number 0519 of 12^th October 2020.
