Remy, a lifelong music lover, got his start working a day job with Pepsi while being a DJ on the side. With little start-up money, Remy sharpened his skills to the best of his ability but was limited with time and resources. A sudden job loss forced Remy into pursuing his dream of a prosperous music career full-time, a blessing in disguise. Rather than pitying himself for being suddenly out of work and having an uncertain future, Remy took charge of his life in a big way. Diving into DJing throughout South Florida nightclubs and lounges, he honed his skills to the best of his ability before packing up and moving to Las Vegas, where he would land impressive gigs in hot clubs like Omnia, 1OAK, and Liquid.

When things were looking their brightest, fate had another surprise for Remy. With the Covid-19 shutdown in 2020, the Las Vegas nightclub scene ground to a halt. No worries for Remy, who again proved an unwillingness to give up on himself or his dream. He returned home to South Florida, got into music production, and quickly released a self-written, self-produced single, "Emotional." The song went on to be a massive hit with 2 million views to date. Remy has collaborated with multiple artists and has four singles in the works right now.

When asked what keeps him motivated throughout all of the obstacles on his road to success, Remy reveals a combination of admiration for others in the industry and an unwavering belief in himself. As for the artists that inspire him toward greatness, he says, "I admire Calvin Harris, Diplo, and people like Tiesto. I get inspired by a lot of different artists, actually." Remy says it's also essential for him to remain focused on his own abilities and keep the naysayers at bay, even if it means making tough decisions with his relationships. "Maintaining a healthy mindset is the key to staying focused on my goals. I never take no for an answer, and I refuse to give up. Unfortunately, sometimes it's meant cutting negative people out of my life so I can stay on track to meeting my goals, too." Fear played too big a part in Remy's early days. He says that is not the case now. "For a long time, I let fear dictate my future, but not anymore. I've come a long way, and my advice to anyone struggling in this business is to never, ever let fear stop you from trying. It's easy to complain along the way, but sometimes I stop and remind myself that this isn't my job. It's my passion."

So what can we expect in the coming months and years from this musical genius? With several projects on the table, Remy says he spends every spare moment in the studio. He wants to be sure not to put any strict labels on his style, though, since he has many tricks up his sleeve. "I never want to be stuck with making only one genre of music and being labeled as a 'Hip-hop DJ' or 'EDM DJ.' There's a lot more to me than that." Fans can expect a collaboration with one of the most prominent Hip-Hop artists out of Toronto to be released in 2021!
