In the bustling world of entertainment, where storytelling is king, Victor Migalchan's transition from film and television to researching water and environment might seem like an unexpected plot twist. When asked about his motivations for delving into this area of study, Migalchan candidly revealed, "I've been doing that for about ten years. What motivated me to start that research was understanding freedom. Freedom of humanity begins with having air, water, and food. These are basic needs. Humanity can survive without Wi-Fi and social media, but not without water, food, and air. Water is the element of life, and this thought, this feeling, made me feel a spark, and this spark led me to start researching what this lovely world has. Look at James Cameron, for example. Except for film, Mr. Cameron has studied a lot of other spheres. His love and understanding of technology brought us his great films."

Migalchan, who is known for his ambition and confidence, emphasized the importance of passion, focus, and discipline in acquiring knowledge. "I'm not a scientist; however, what I realized is that if you have passion and focus, and you are disciplined, you will get enough knowledge without a need to go to Stanford or Berkeley. You don't need to go to a film school to become a filmmaker; James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino are the greatest examples of that. In fact, you may even work out a more efficient and better way since the school doesn't put any limitations in your head. You don't grow with an employee mindset either," he shared.

With a desire to make a lasting impact in the realm of water purification, Victor Migalchan has already achieved some remarkable breakthroughs. While he remains tight-lipped about the specifics due to pending patents, he revealed that their research has led to the creation of a brand-new, environmentally-friendly technology that ensures access to pure, drinkable water. Migalchan further pointed out that many existing water purification technologies are outdated, inefficient, and are harmful to the environment.

This ambitious film director's foray into studying water is not without its connections to other pressing global issues. Migalchan mentioned Jack McCauley, an individual whose interests in vehicles, arts, and climate change have deeply inspired him. "Mr. McCauley is one of the most unique and brilliant men I've ever met in my life. His interest in vehicles, arts, and climate was not just surprising but inspiring," he stated. However, he was quick to point out that he couldn't speak on McCauley's behalf. Jack McCauley has been accumulating extensive data on climate change and has already done in-depth research. Victor Migalchan sees him, as well as James Cameron as a role model in his climate, environment and water research journey.

When asked about the importance of raising awareness about both climate research and water purification efforts, Victor Migalchan was quick to highlight the interconnectedness of these areas. "Climate is the environment we live in, and of course, if everyone cared about the environment, that would be great. If people would dive into studying, it would be even better. Lots of people live like users and don't care about anything, especially the waste," he said. His commitment to the environment, particularly the oceans and the animals that inhabit it, is apparent. The technology he is developing aims to reduce waste that harms the oceans.

Victor Migalchan is joined by a team of talented individuals, including Sergey Ivannikov, Cung Le, Linda Xiao, and Zhiliang Tang. Their collaborative efforts have been further bolstered by the enthusiastic support of the SBA office and the non-profit organization HumanBulb, both of which have shown keen interest in and endorsement of their work. Additionally, Jack McCauley's expressed interest in their project and ideas has added an extra layer of excitement to their research endeavors.

Looking to the future, Victor Migalchan shared his upcoming plans and goals in the field of water purification research. "The goal we have is to present our prototype and record an investigation of water quality on the West Coast with our Life Academy finalists Josslyn Banh, Michael Vuong, Ian Chen and Veronica Gnip," he revealed. Their mission is to test water quality along the coast, from Sacramento and San Francisco to San Diego. Afterward, they plan to venture inland and investigate water in Lake Mead and Lake Powell to test their technology and assess the outcome.

Moreover, Victor Migalchan expressed his excitement about sharing this journey through a scientific TV show for kids and teens. He hopes that this show will not only educate young minds about technology but also inspire them to learn and make a difference in the world rather than just being absorbed in social media.

Addressing the secrecy surrounding his research, Migalchan clarified, "Not now, it is a protected IP. We will arrange a presentation of how it works, and then information about it will go public."

As Victor Migalchan continues to make strides in this important field, we can only anticipate exciting breakthroughs and innovations that will contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.
