Source: Stroman opts out; Reds end Votto deal

Cubs right-hander Marcus Stroman has opted out of his contract, forgoing his $21 million salary for 2024, a source confirmed to ESPN. Also, the Reds declined to pick up first baseman Joey Votto's $20 million club option.
