Microsoft to Launch New Surface Pro X This Year

Microsoft is reportedly working on a new Surface Pro X model that could launch in the fall of this year, according to a new rumor. More specifically, an ARM-powered Surface Pro X could go live as soon as the fall, and a report from Windows Central indicates that the experience will be powered by the Microsoft SQ2 processor. In its turn, this new chip will be based on the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G developed by Qualcomm, so theoretically, it will also come with support for 5G capabilities. At this point, however, it’s still not clear if Microsoft wants to bring 5G to this new model.
