Windows 10 October 2020 Update is finally available for download, and while it’s not a massive update, at least not as massive as the May 2020 Update, it still comes with improvements that are definitely worth checking out. Among them, there’s the overhaul of Microsoft Edge, the company’s reinvented browser which now runs on the Chromium engine, which also powers Google Chrome and several other browsers. Microsoft has pushed hard to make the new Edge the preferred option for its users, and on Windows 10, the browser is offered as the new default on the system. And the migration to Chromium also allowed the company to expand it beyond the world of Windows 10, all with versions that are available today for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, macOS, and Linux (currently in the Dev channel only).
