The Japanese developers recently revealed it has decided to release a PlayStation 5 version of the game this year. Dubbed Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the game is an enhanced and expanded version of the original, and includes a new episode featuring ninja and thief Yuffie Kisaragi as the main character. Players who purchase FFVII Remake on PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the PS5 version for free, but they will have to purchase the new episode featuring Yuffie as a standalone download.
