Microsoft Announces Big Improvements for Notepad

Notepad has received plenty of goodies lately, and today, Microsoft took the wraps off a bunch of new improvements that are available for insiders. In other words, if you’re part of the Windows Insider program and running Windows 11 preview builds on your device, a new version of Notepad can be tested with lots of refinements. One of the highlights is the native ARM64 support, with Microsoft explaining that Notepad should now feel faster and more responsive when running on an ARM device. “We’ve improved the Notepad experience on ARM64 devices on versions 11.2204 and higher available in all channels.
