Live updates as Beaujolais Day returns to Swansea

Thousands of people will be dressing up to the nines to celebrate one of the biggest events in Swansea's party calendar - Beaujolais Day.Venues across the city have events lined up for the day, which is a celebration of the first wine of the season made from the first harvest of grapes in the Beaujolais region of France.Swansea is one of, if not the only place in the UK which celebrates the day.Last year, Beaujolais Day was one of the few large events in Wales to go ahead because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, it looked markedly different than in previous years, with large numbers shoulder to shoulder in packed-out venues.But with Covid restrictions less stringent that 12 months ago, bars and venues are expected to be a lot busier this time around.Follow live updates below
