Atlanta officers surrender to police in Rayshard Brooks' death
Friday, 19 June 2020 Former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe will face a judge for the first time Friday for the murder of Rayshard Brooks. Rolfe surrendered to police Thursday on 11 charges, including felony murder. The other officer involved also turned himself in after being charged with aggravated assault and oath violations. Charges are now being filed against two Atlanta officers involved in Rayshard Brooks' death. Fired Atlanta officer Garret Rolfe is now facing felony murder charges, while the other officer is charged with aggravated assault.
