Oregon police officer fatally shot man in mental health crisis and injured sheriff's deputy, officials say

A Portland, Ore.,-area police officer who fatally shot a man experiencing mental health issues also shot a sheriff's deputy during an attempted arrest of the man, authorities said Thursday.
