France to rewrite controversial bill restricting publication of police images in wake of nationwide protests

France's government is proposing a "complete rewrite" of the part of the bill banning the publication of images of police officers with intent to cause them harm. Critics protesting the law fear it could prevent the exposure of police brutality.
