Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has developed symptoms similar to signs of poisoning after his trip to Ukraine, where he took part in the process to organise negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources close to the situation. According to the publication, Abramovich and two members of the negotiating group from Ukraine experienced redness of the eyes, tearing, and skin flaking on the face and hands. Their condition has improved, their lives are out of danger, the newspaper said. Ukrainian MP Rustem Umerov is believed to be one of the victims of the suspected poisoning. Umerov himself denied this information and assured that he was fine.
