A former gang leader, Duane "Keffe D" Davis, has been indicted for the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, marking a breakthrough in the case that has remained unsolved for three decades. Davis, who was arrested on Friday, had previously admitted his involvement in the shooting in interviews and his memoir. Shakur, known for his raw and controversial lyrics, was fatally shot in a drive-by incident in Las Vegas in 1996. The case has made Shakur even more popular in death, and he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
