China says outlook worrisome as conflict spreads in Middle East: State media

China's Middle East special envoy, Zhai Jun, has expressed concern about the situation in Gaza, stating that the risk of a large-scale ground conflict is growing. He highlighted the conflict spilling over into neighboring regions, including along the Israeli-Lebanese and Israeli-Syrian borders. Zhai called on the international community to be vigilant and take immediate action to avoid a serious humanitarian disaster. China is willing to promote dialogue, achieve a ceasefire, restore peace, and support a two-state solution.
