Rep. Patrick McHenry announces he will not seek re-election

Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., who served as the temporary House speaker, has announced his retirement, saying he will not run for re-election. He said in a statement that he believes "there is a season for everything" and that "this season has come to an end."
