Nato announced it will support a group of nations, including Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, and Spain, in buying up to 1,000 Patriot missiles worth $5.5 billion. The purchase aims to enhance allies' defense capabilities against cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as enemy aircraft. The contract will also benefit other user nations.
